Celebrating Mommy

Since Mommy's birthday and Mother's day fall in the same week I thought it a good time to teach Kai how to celebrate Mommy.

First, I showed him how to make a "pecial" card.


Kai was more interested in eating everything.


Then, I showed him how to bake cupcakes. He caught on pretty fast.


I even thought I would teach him a thing or two about sleep. Only, the problem is that I was so sick that I fell sound asleep on the couch in the middle of the morning.


Kai thought that meant he was to start sleeping 12+ hours a night straight. Apparently he didn't catch the memo that I sent out as a baby that sleep is overrated. (Mommy hopes he never reads this memo)


I think we succeeded in making mommy feel special. She said she had a wonderful week.
