In need of another hair cut

What do you think? Do I need another hair cut already?

Lies and tears from a long, lean, attempting to walk machine

So my mom lied to me today. She told me that I didn't get poked with a needle at my 9 month check up. LIES, LIES, LIES. Not only did I get poked, but I was full on THROTTLED with the needle. I didn't get shots, but they had to draw blood to test for lead poisoning. Mommy had to fill out this form that asked about my exposure to lead. Apparently, the Dr. wasn't impressed with her answers because they sent me over to this other building where they dug around in my arm for about 5 minutes until they finally found my vein. Other babies take note: Fill this form out for your mommy--put NO for every answer...don't let her say otherwise.
As a side note, I weigh 19 lbs. 2 oz putting me at 25% for weight. And I am 29 1/4 inches tall putting me at 80% for height. The Dr. said that I'm long and lean just like my mommy and daddy. And I got the ok to eat most everything as long as it's smaller than my thumb nail. Ahhh...the possibilities. The only things I can not eat are honey and peanuts...I can have smooth peanut butter, but not chunky or any other nut.

Before I got my blood drawn I was crawling all over the waiting room of the Heart Institute (please note that mommy told me it was ok because the carpet is brand new). Mommy couldn't keep up because I was cruising so fast. At one point I stood up against the coffee table, walked around it by holding the edge, then decided I needed to find bigger and better things. I turned around, let go, and took 3, yes THREE steps. Enough with this crawling stuff. I didn't even fall...I just lowered myself to the ground.

I love the grass

I get so excited whenever I am outside. Especially with all kinds of fun things to look at and play with. I find all kinds of things to eat in the grass. The lawn is littered with these pine needles. However, mommy always says "Kadyn, no, no, no."

All I have to say to mom is...WHATEVER

Boy, I sure love the grass.

HAPPY GRANDPARENT'S DAY!!!

"What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies." ~A quote from a man currently running for president

Mommy said that she agrees with the quote "Grandparents are there to help me get in to the mischief I haven't thought of yet."
I just wanted to let my grandparents and great-grandparents both near and far know that I love them SO much. Daddy said I'm a very blessed little boy with so many "grands" in my life.

Fall Weather

I got to wear my first sweater of the season today. Mommy had to take pictures because Daddy is in Portland for the weekend. Mommy was telling me all about fall today. I'm looking forward to going to the pumpkin patch, dressing up for halloween and eating lots of candy. Any takers?

Sleepless Nights...again

It's official...I have figured out how to pull myself up in my crib. This has resulted in some very early mornings for mommy. I've been practicing my screaming for the big airplane ride I'm taking at the end of the month so when I wake up at 3:30 AM I pull myself up and SCREAM until mommy comes in. It's great, I'm training her well.
The best part is, I scream until I get to go back to sleep on the couch.
Mommy told me it's a good thing I'm so cute because by the time I finally fall back to sleep it's time for mommy to get ready for work.
