I found out today that my Great-Grandpa is in the hospital. Since I don't have any of those green paper things mommy calls money, I can't send flowers for Great-Grandpa to eat.
I just want him to know how much I love him and we're saying prayers for him every night. Feel better soon GR8 GPA! I love you!!
At 8 months we mark a new transition…from 9 mo clothes to 12 mo clothes. As you’ve read, I can sit up all by myself. I wave “bye-bye” and clap “yeah” and even give kisses. My newest development…finally…is crawling.
I can pull myself up (but mommy wants to caution everyone that I haven’t learned yet that if I let go…I fall down) and I can even take a few steps if you hold my fingers.
I love toys that make noise and if it doesn’t make noise I just bang it on the floor. (This is my new toy from my grandparents). I’ve even started expressing how mad I get when someone takes a toy away from me that I still want. How do I do this you ask? SCREAM! Wow, it’s been a busy month. No wonder mommy keeps saying how exhausted she is.
My Aunt Chelsea babysat me today while mommy went to work and mommy said there must have been something in the food she fed me because when we got home I took 3 creeping crawls like I'd been doing it forever. What's great is I'm watching mommy run around the house frantically trying to babyproof everything (notice the computer cords behind me in the picture--mommy says those need to go). I keep telling her I won't get into TOO much trouble, but she doesn't seem to believe me.
Note to family: time to move the crib mattress down. Mommy came in this morning only to find me sitting up in my crib. You would think my afternoon at the pool yesterday with my friend Sam would have worn me out and I'd be too tired to do a neat trick like that. Nope, not this guy. I don't know what the word tired means.
I thought I would get ready for my big trip by dressing the part. I couldn't decide though...UVM or Middlebury College? How about both...they say I'm pretty smart.
