Christmas Tree Hunting

We made our annual trip to pick out and get our Christmas tree this weekend.
We crammed in to Uncle Drew's car
along with Kuna and Boulder.
The 9+ inches of snow made it the best Christmas tree searching day yet!
This marked baby Laila's very first Christmas tree hunt.

Yes, that's Daddy cutting down Nannie and Pappie's tree.
TIMBER...
The snow was too deep for us to trudge along looking for the tree so we stayed by the truck to tend to the fire with Nannie, Aunt TT and baby Laila. We made sure to invite our new friend to have chili and fudge with us.

And Kai had to try sledding on his own this year.
Patagonia model? New coat and new boots did the trick to last all day and stay "toasty warm."
